Prepare the matcha:
Sift the matcha powder into a bowl. Pour in hot, but not boiling, water and whisk with a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth and slightly frothy. Heat the oat milk together with the ube powder in a small pot, stirring well until the powder is completely dissolved. Alternatively, you can mix the ube powder with the oat milk cold in a shaker.
Prepare the glass:
Fill a glass with as many ice cubes as you like and pour in the ube oat milk until the glass is about two-thirds full. Adjust the amount to your taste and the desired strength of the matcha.
Pour the matcha:
Slowly pour the frothed matcha over the ube oat milk so that the layers remain distinct. You can enjoy the drink layered or gently stir before drinking, depending on your preference.
