With the baking stone from our Loaf and Soul series, you can take your baking skills to a new level and turn your stovepipe into a traditional bread and pizza oven in no time at all - baking like a pro! The stone is made of high-quality and food-safe fireclay. This stores the heat perfectly and gives it off continuously and evenly to the baked goods during baking. At the same time, it removes the moisture from the dough so that a wonderfully thin, crispy surface forms. You can bake directly on it or, if the base is particularly greasy, you can use baking paper. This makes cleaning easier and protects the stone. After use, when the stone has cooled down well, coarse dirt can be easily cleaned with a sharp knife, a dough scraper or a brush. Thanks to the square dimensions, the baking space is used optimally and offers plenty of space for many baking ideas. Practical, it fits in almost all standard ovens. Also ideal for real barbecue fans, as the material easily withstands temperatures of up to 1000 °C. Suitable for gas and charcoal grills, smokers or campfires. Please do not clean the fireclay brick with water or washing-up liquid. At most with a slightly damp cloth, as the stone absorbs moisture quickly and runs the risk of breaking easily. Don't worry, thanks to the high temperature resistance, the stone is clean and free of germs in any case!
