The Birkmann Cordierite “Laib & Seele” baking stone is ideal for crispy pizzas, tarte flambée, and breads that taste like they came straight from a stone oven. The baking stone retains heat exceptionally evenly and releases it steadily to the food during baking. Excess moisture is absorbed, resulting in exceptionally crispy baked goods.
Made from food-safe cordierite, the baking stone is suitable for ovens, smokers, and gas and charcoal grills. It is heat-resistant up to 800 °C and impresses with its robust construction. Residues and stuck-on food can be easily removed dry with a brush or dough scraper.
