This extraordinarily practical wooden lid holder holds the lid of your cocotte. The lid is therefore not in the way and you have it quickly at hand when you want to close your cocotte again. The lid holder also protects your worktop and table from unsightly scratches. Especially nice to serve or on the buffet.
Place the heel of the holder into the handle of the cocotte or roaster and then gently slide the lid into the space between the holder's "forks". The lid knob sits in the circular recess and holds the lid firmly in place. Be especially careful when the lid is hot. In this case, use a tea towel or oven mitts.
