In the last few years alone, products from Stelton have received many design awards. These include the Red Dot Award and the iF Product Design Award. Many Stelton products are now exhibited in renowned museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Louvre and Pompidou (Paris), the Cooper-Hewitt Museum (New York), the British Museum (London), the State Museum of Applied Arts (Munich) and the Kunstindustrimuseet (Copenhagen).
Sebastian Holmbäck (1971) and Ulrik Nordentoft (1974) met at the Danish Design School, where they were both educated. 10 years after graduating, they founded the HolmbäckNordentoft Studio. Their basic principle and the basis for their work is aesthetics.
