Since 2002, LURCH has been producing planes & reamers using the photo etching process. In this process, the desired blade image is exposed onto the sheet metal using an acid-resistant emulsion, similar to a photo negative. All areas not protected by this coating are then etched away in an acid bath and the blades are set up. This process gives the incomparable sharpness as RazorTech.
