- The Graef tamper station made of high-quality stainless steel makes it easier for you to brush the ground coffee and provides a solid base to use the tamper to exert optimal pressure on the ground coffee in the filter holder.
- The contact pressure with the so-called "Tampen" should be approx. 15 kg with an optimal espresso grinding degree (this can be practiced with a personal scale), whereby the pressing with the tamper should be even and straight from above.
- By tampening a straight, evenly compressed surface of the ground coffee can be achieved and the water flows evenly with the optimum pressure of about 9 bar through the ground coffee.
