Here you will find the appropriate care instructions for your new Bitz products.
Glass
KUSINTHA
The Kusintha range is made of traditional glass and coloured recycled glass. The Kusintha glass range is not intended for professional use in canteens or catering, but can handle being washed about 200 times in a household dishwasher on the delicate program. The glass range is not oven or microwave-safe.
BASIC
BITZ glass products are made of European glass, which is characterised by its high quality. When washing in a dishwasher, choose a low-alkaline dish detergent and select a fast program at low temperature. Salt should be added to the dishwasher, and for washing lead-free crystal, it is a good idea to add half a decilitre of wine vinegar at a low temperature. The range’s glass is dyed which means that the pieces will not lose colour by being washed in the dishwasher.
Please note that Kusintha products are made from recycled glass.
Air bubbles or small streaks in the products are normal and do not constitute grounds for complaint.
We have no influence on the placement and intensity of the air bubbles and streaks.
Stoneware
GASTRO
The combination of the matte exterior and the glossy, coloured glaze on the inside makes each piece of Gastro stoneware unique, and there are no two with exactly the same appearance. Because of the reactive glaze, all BITZ stoneware has different scratches, marks and patterns in the glaze. The same goes for the glossy, stained glaze on the inside. This is precisely what gives the collection a vibrant and special look when you pair different pieces together with each their own unique looks. The stoneware is dishwasher, microwave and oven-safe up to 220 degrees.
BASIC
This stoneware is made with a beautiful, reactive glaze that gives the products extra glow and makes each piece unique. There will be visible scratches and irregularities – and they are not flaws. The stoneware is dishwasher, microwave and oven-safe up to 220 degrees.
Cutlery
STEEL
The steel cutlery is dishwasher-safe and will eventually achieve a beautiful patina.
BLACK AND BRASS
The cutlery is not dishwasher-safe and it is recommended that you clean it by hand wash only.
