Product information "Pott - Sarah Wiener - Paring Knife"

Sarah Wiener - Paring Knife - Ideal for hand-held peeling of fruits and vegetables and light slicing.

  • Blade length: 8,5 cm
  • Handle: plum wood or walnut-wood
  • Delivery in high quality package with carrying tissue and care instructions - perfect Gift
  • Hand forged from a single piece. 56° Rockwell hardness in addition to ice hardening for slicing durability. This means the knife remains sharp for a long time and is easy to re-sharpen at home.
  • In addition, it is sharp thanksto repeated manual honing and polishing by the blade master, who also tests each knife for performance.
  • The molybdenum/vanadium Solingen steel and a nine-step forging process make the blade extremely hard and rust proof, yet supple and resilient.
  • Through separate pre and fine honing processes the surface of the blade becomes extremely smooth, and the pores of the steel seal themselves - a natural rust proofing ensues.
  • A sharp knife makes a good roast even better - good clean slicing minimizes damage to taste carriers.
  • Appealing and hand flattering in both form and material. Local plum wood or walnut-wood is hand polished and oiled. Not recommended for the dishwasher.
  • Made in Germany

Pott - Sarah Wiener Knife Series

HANDMADE IS THE BEST - This is valid for coleslaw as it is for knives. This is one of the reasons why Sarah Wiener, who insists on natural ingredients as much as she does on good execution, came to Pott with her ideas for better knives. Pott not only symbolizes good design, but also traditional production. Every Sarah Wiener knife is produced by us in 90 manual steps. From the best materials (steel: Solingen; wood: FSC certified). And always hand in hand with the chef and tested in her kitchen. While appetite might make a good chef, it does not make a good smith.
