Tips for optimizing the product's thermal performance:
- Preheat/precool the container before use: fill with boiling/cold water and close with the lid. Wait at least 30 seconds. Press the center button, unscrew the lid, and drain the water.
- Fill the bento with hot/cold food. If the food needs reheating before being placed in the bento, heat it in a saucepan or microwave first to ensure a more uniform temperature and optimal heat retention.
- Fill the bento completely: the fuller it is, the more effective the temperature retention.
- Close the lid quickly after filling to minimize heat or cold loss.
- Close the lid tightly.
- Avoid opening the bento before eating: every time it is opened, heat or cold is lost.
- Opt for sliced food rather than large chunks.
- Store at room temperature (at least 21°C) to keep contents warm, or in a cool place (max. 15°C) to keep them cold.
- Mix well before eating to ensure the food temperature is uniform.
