Peugeot uses only wood from PEFC-certified forests.

The pepper mill mechanism, consisting of a double-row spiral gear, guides and holds the peppercorns for a perfect grind. The steel of the pepper mill's grinding mechanism is treated against corrosion. This maintains its cutting ability and guarantees long-lasting durability. Ideally, peppercorns with a maximum diameter of 5 mm should be used.
The salt mill is designed for grinding coarse, dry sea salt. Made of stainless steel, it is unaffected by corrosion from salt. Ideally, the salt grains should be dry and no more than 4 mm in diameter.
