CeraCutXL® spice mill grinder
Until 1996, spice mill grinders were mainly made from steel which has a limited field of use, and plastic, which has considerable shortcomings in terms of its lifespan and wear.
High-strength engineering ceramic was used as a material for grinders for the first time in the form of an innovation in 1996, having previously only been used in industrial applications. The advantages of the ceramic grinder:
- odour and flavour-neutral
- totally rust and wear free
- 30% harder than steel
make it into a perfect partner for the preparation of the spices. Thanks to its material-based attributes, along with pepper, it is also suitable for the hardest of salts.

Since the company was founded in 1995, the AdHoc team has been developing, designing and manufacturing according to this principle.
