In the Eisch gold-painting process, genuine gold is meticulously applied by hand using brushes. A firing process lasting several hours at 560°C bonds the gold to the glass. Afterward, the artisans apply a protective layer of matte white over the precious metal, allowing the golden sheen to shine brilliantly.
