With the PureCut, Microplane is launching a new generation of V-Blade that can do everything you could want in the kitchen: precise cuts, easy operation and a compact design that makes you want to cook just by looking at it.
Instead of confusing additional functions, the Microplane PureCut V-plane focuses on the essentials. No julienne insert, no complicated tricks, no additional accessories, just full concentration on what matters: perfect slices, from wafer-thin to 8 millimetres thick. This is made possible by a razor-sharp stainless steel V-blade that glides through even the hardest vegetables like butter, making it easy to cut everything from apples, oranges, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and potatoes to onions. The cutting thickness can be easily adjusted using a rotary wheel.
Microplane has also thought about handling: the soft-touch handle fits comfortably in the hand – whether you are left- or right-handed. The non-slip base ensures stability, and thanks to the practical bowl holder, you can grate directly into a container. A universal finger guard provides additional safety. Microplane also offers a special protective glove, which can be purchased separately.
