Banana Pudding

Here you’ll find the classic recipe for creamy banana pudding, a sweet treat featuring delicate vanilla notes and fresh bananas.

Ingredients

Serves 6

Quantity 

  • 1 can sweetend condensed milk 

  • 400 ml water 

  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder 

  • 600 ml heavy whipping cream 

  • 5 bananas 

  • 150-200 g cookies (e.g. butter cookies, biscuit) 

Preparation

Prepare the ingredients:
In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, water and pudding powder until smooth. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for about one hour. In the meantime, slice the bananas and whip the cream until stiff. Once the pudding mixture has chilled, gently fold it into the whipped cream in portions, then stir again until well combined.

Layer the dessert:
In a large glass dish or individual dessert glasses, layer the pudding cream, cookies and banana slices alternately. Repeat in this order until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of pudding on top. For decoration, add a few banana slices or cookie crumbs on the surface.

Chill and serve:
Cover the dessert and refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to blend. Serve well chilled the next day.

Preparation time: approx. 20 minutes + chilling time (at least 4 hours, ideally overnight)
